The first single off "Gideon force" - da movie soundtrack is here. New york based Nigerian music and film producer, Frakas Mo'fire links up with Nigerian Highlife and Afro beats guru, J Martins to create this feel good, danceable and catchy blend of afrobeats, hip hop and highlife, "good loving".

The movie, "Gideon force" , directed by Val "Frakas Mo'fire" Amadi and co-produced by Nkem Onumara centers on the use of a quick, small, but effective community Force in the liberation of communities wrecked by violence and other societal ills. Continue.

GEJ declares national emergency on Ebola, approves N1.9b special intervention fund

President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan Friday in Abuja declared the control and containment of the Ebola virus in Nigeria, a National Emergency.

Accordingly, the President has directed the Federal Ministry of Health to work in collaboration with the State Ministries of Health, the National Centre for Disease Control (NCDC), the National Emergency Management Agency (NEMA) and other relevant agencies to ensure that all possible steps are taken to effectively contain the threat of the Ebola virus in line with international protocols and best practices.
